Well, if you've ever lived in Marine Parade, then you'd know
that the residents there would stick to him through thick and thin.
And for good reason - there's no denying that marine Parade is a
very well-maintained and well-connected estate without the chaos of
Tampines or the ulu-ness of Punggol.
He has his flaws, but at least he seems to be far less of a
clown than, say, Mah Bow Tan or Raymond Lim. And being the bearer
of bad news is one thing, but I'm sure that at least enough people
would know that shooting the messenger gets you nothing.
To be sure, I'm not at all impressed by Tin Pei Ling. However,
I'm even less impressed by Nicole Seah. Watching her rally last
night on Youtube, she strikes me as more of a political activist
than a true politician. I just can't shake off my perception of her
as 'the little girl who tries too hard to talk big'. She
seems to be more suited for holding a placard outside a G8 meeting
than a seat inside Parliament.
Nicole Seah reminds me a little of Sarah Palin
